Morrissey wants Christina to lay off 6 nurses. Maureen (Erinn Hayes) brings her mom to hospital which could be a possible stroke. Serious pressure floats around the hospital.

She is a chief nursing officer of a Richmond,Virgina hospital and a single mom.In the series,Christina Hawthorne(Jada Pinkett Smith)feels overwhelmed,grappling with her grief over her dead husband,a troublesome teenage daughter and the chaos of ever-demanding hospital patients and staff.




James Morrison plays as John Morressey in HawthoRNe "Mother's Day".

Erinn Hayes plays as Maureen in HawthroRNe "Mother's Day".
