Vick gets a one-year deal for $1.6 million with a team option for second year for $5.2 million. This is not guaranteed; the Eagles will face no risk.
When Micheal Vick will play?
The NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently lifted Vick's suspension on July 27,2009; that will allow him to sign with a NFL team. Which would allow him to practice and play in a couple of preseason games. When the NFL season kicks off; Vick will be able participate in team activities;but not in season games. The Commissioner will consider Vick for full reinstatement by the second week of October.
Overall "Micheal Vick is getting a second life at the game he loves to play". With a mentor like former Indianapolis Colts Coach Tony Dungy and Eagles Coach Andy Reid by his side. I am sure Mr. Vick will do all he can to make the team and put behind the horrible mistakes he made. However the fans and people worldwide may forgive; but they won't forget.
