The popular cash for clunkers program(CARS) is running out of funding. As a result the »»»»» C.A.R.S program is on pause to further notice. Overall "Cash for Clunkers program have erupted so fast;car dealers might of pass the 250,000 mark in vehicle sales". Mainly because car dealerships were allowed to pre-register customers in the program early as July 1st. The Program started on July 27. The NHTSA got bombarded with a ton of paper work to approve the sales??
The auto stimulus program(C.A.R.S) was suppose to ignite auto sales. The government is trying to find a way to pull some strings to get more funding into the program. Stay Tuned?
UPDATED:The House of Representatives passed legislation by a vote of 316 to 109. This means the Cash Allowance Rebate bill will be getting additional funding; $2 billion, pending a vote by the Senate next week. Reports indicate that the program will not be suspended.
