Canada: could possibly implement the Cash-For-Clunkers program. According to reports: Jim Prentice the environment Minster of Canada say's "he's reviewing whether to implement the program".
If Canada follows the US and a few European countries. This could dramatically help the economy environment and the dwindling automotive industry.
The incentives:
Reportedly there were Talks: Canadians could get $3,500 to trade in their old gas guzzler vehicles; but a decision could be made within 60 Days on the CFC(Cash-For-Clunkers) program.
Canada New Vehicles sales have decrease 19% from last year.
Along with financial aid from Washington, General Motors Corp. is receiving $10.6 billion from Ottawa and Chrysler is getting $3.8 billion.
