Oklahoma--Chrysler LLC slashing 12 car dealerships in Oklahoma. Oklahoma Chrysler dealerships desperately attempted to stay optimistic. The auto maker had been suffering a number of financial difficultes, and when they declared bankruptcy it didn't come as a huge shock.
Chrysler eliminating 789 Dealerships Under Bankruptcy Restructuring Plan nevertheless had a huge impact on the country.
Many of the dealers' sales are too low, the automaker said. More than 38,000 people will be without work once the dealerships close on June 9.
With GM and Chrysler no longer making the cars consumers want to buy, they are scaling back their dealer networks. Some think over 3,000 dealers will be cut off - and most will go out of business.
